English pronunciation is a compulsory subject in the professional knowledge block of the English language training program at university level. The English Pronunciation course equips students with the knowledge of pronunciation practice, including: basic theory and exercises to reinforce theory.
This course consists of many chapters, and each chapter contains basic theory, exercises that reinforce theory and exercises that extend to real-world situations. The exercises are arranged in sequence from easy to difficult, simple to complex in academic, commercial and professional contexts and can be used by learners to practice independently. Other activities are used together with the main lesson to create more richness and flexibility in the learning process. Students also perform pronunciation exercises from reference materials, video discs, audio discs to be able to study by themselves.
In-class learning: Students have the opportunity to practice language skills: listening-speaking-reading-writing with English pronunciation course, especially when participating in class activities such as discussions and problems solving.
Autonomy learning: Students must complete homework assignments and exercises in materials required by their lecturer. Students can directly contact the teacher in charge of the class for advice and support for their own learning.
